Events by Katy Untershatz

I have been getting floral arrangements from Katy Untershatz for Shavuos for years,
and I am never disappointed! Her work is professional, beautiful, and
reasonably priced. She also advises you how to keep the flowers alive and
thriving after Shavuos is over!

We recently used her for flowers at our daughter's wedding, and we were so
happy with the results.

She did not ask me to recommend her or write this email. I am doing so
because I was so pleased by her work.

Sderot Ha'Me'atzvim~designer outlet dresses in Netanya

"Sderot Ha'Me'atzvim" - it's a designers outlet store. They have tons of
dresses of all sorts of different styles. and they can make alterations etc.
It's possible that you might even be able to order a particular dress in a
particular color, but I don't know for sure.

There is a store in the old industrial area of Netanya.

45 Pinchas David Street, Netanya

Each Photo a Jewel~Yoraan Rafael

If you would like to have photographs taken I would like to recommend Yoraan, a young enthusiastic and talented photographer. We used him for a barmitzvah with family portraits taken beforehand. Each photograph is a jewel, Yoraan can do the conservative but we asked for his unusual and artistic touch and weren't disappointed.

If you are planning a simcha or other event, we suggest
you contact :

Menachem Handelsman and Sarah Caras of
Eventfully Jerusalem
(
www.eventfullyjerusalem.com).

We worked with them for our daughter's wedding and
they did a great job. They helped us plan the event
and the budget, kept the program on schedule, and
worried about all the little details on the day of the
wedding so we didn't have to.

Feel free to contact us if you want more information.

Balloonai Adumim in Maale Adumim

I would like to recommend Balloonai Adumim; a business that prepares wonderful helium filled balloons for parties and events. Their service is great, prices are reasonable.

Those balloons really do add a lot!

I used them for A.H.A.V.A.s Readathon Party in June of 2010. It was wonderful. I no longer had to blow up a million balloons by myself! The top quality multi-colored balloons lent a lot to the atmosphere of excitement and celebration of our big event.

Their website is www.balloonaiadumim.weebly.com

Excellent Artist in Rehovot

This is a totally unsolicited recommendation.

Vivienne Maron has just completed an oil portrait of my eldest
granddaughter on her Batmitzvah.

She did an absolutely superb job - based on one photograph
- and clearly is very talented. She captured Noa's expression
perfectly, as well as her coloring. Seeing the completed painting
literally took my breath away!

Vivienne did such a great job that I intend to have portraits
painted of each of my grandchildren on the attainment of their
Bar/Batmitzvahs and keep them as family heirlooms.
A wonderful "yerusha" for them one day...

Vivienne's prices are most reasonable - the "value" of each
portrait far outweighs the cost - aside from which she is a
positively delightful person and will work with you to find the
right photograph for the portrait.

I thoroughly recommend her to anyone wishing to create their
own family heirlooms in a similar way. Vivienne can be reached at 9262391.

Impressions Catering in RBS

Unsolicited recommendation:
We would love to recommend Impressions Catering
www.impressionsdairycatering. com for your next simcha.
We just made a bat mitzvah and the Kaplans truly out did themselves.

The food was delicious, plentiful and beautiful. The hall looked gorgeous!
Miriam and Zev did everything so calmly- even when there was a last
minute change with our hall, they were able to work it all out with a
smile on their faces. They had an amazing group of kids working for
them, and it was a real pleasure to work with them.

A Cake Decorator's Delight in Jerusalem

A wonderful store that supposedly used to be in the malcha complex
is a Wilton store run by Rina Joy and I thought I had died and gone to
heaven when I entered. A real cake decorator's delight!

Anyway i just wanted to highly
recommend Rina and her store that carries anything Wilton you could
possibly want and she is a real help while looking for what you need.

Very special place for bat/ bar mitzvoth in the "5-Towns"

I'd like to recommend a very special place for bat/ bar mitzvoth in
the "5-Towns" area. It's in Givat Ada. The farm's name is Ets Hasadeh
and belongs to the Teperberg family ( famous for their wines and olive oil).
It is an agricultural farm, w/ a little zoo at the back so
it keeps kids really busy during the event. The area is beautiful, surrounded
w/ plants of pomegranates.

They have a very good catering called Siona, but you can
bring your own. Speak with Itay (one of the 4 brothers running the farm) and
tell him I strongly recommend his place for intimate and special events (up to
200 people): 050-3767681 or 04-6288306.
Good luck!

Karbe Photography -Outstanding

This is an unsolicited recommendation.
I would like to recommend Wallace as a very professional, flexible

Zev Weismandel-caterer in RBS

Zev Weismandel recently catered a meal for 40 people at my
home. The food was exceptional. The taste, the quantity,
the presentation were all beyond our expectations and at
a price which was unbelievably reasonable.

I look forward to using his services again.
He can be reached at 054-301-8980.

Shlomo and Aish Orchestra did an AMAZING job

We just celebrated the Bar mitzvah of our son, and wanted to let the
community know - We used Shlomo Walfish and Aish Orchestra for our
Simcha. They have been performing for over 2 decades in NY and are
now available here. Shlomo and Aish Orchestra did an AMAZING job.
They were very lively and professional, everyone had a great time.
When some issues came up with the video and photographer, electric
issues and video microphone recording issues, Shlomo used his
professional experience to make sure everything worked together
fine. Aish is well worth their fee.

You can email them at info@aishorchestra. com.
I recommend them highly!

Yael-Dressmaker in RBS, a pleasure

I had a gown made for my sister's wedding by a very talented
dressmaker

named Yael. She has a lovely studio with a separate entrance,
which made
the whole experience feel very professional.

She was a pleasure to work
with- sweet and helpful and totally
responsible about sticking to
deadlines. Most important, the
gown came out stunning. I came in with a
rough idea of what I
wanted and she helped me refine it, suggesting
different things
based on her experience such as what would be most

flattering for me. It turned out much more beautiful than what I
originally envisioned.

Yael's number is 052-768-3024 and she is in RBS

Sharon's Cakes in RBS: an outstanding piece of art

An unsolicited recommendation for Sharon's Cakes.
We ordered a wedding cake for my daughter's wedding that was truly
an outstanding piece of art. Most people weren't sure if it was real
because it was so beautiful. We had intended to save it for Shabbos
Sheva Brachos but then towards the end of the wedding someone
cut into the top layer and in almost an instant that entire level was gone.
This cake was not just beautiful but it was delicious. We hid the rest of the
cake and opened it on Shabbos and it just disappeared – everyone loved it.
To top it off Sharon was great to work with and came through exactly as
she promised. We highly recommend Sharon's Cakes.
