No "shtick" at Shekem in Modiin

We bought our appliances from Bella at Shekem in the Ishparo mall, and she deserves a strong recommendation. She is straightforward, reasonable, pleasant and very helpful. 

We looked at other local places and compared prices to zap.co.il offerings. Her prices were comparable to the lower half of the prices on zap, and because we bought a number of our appliances there, we received some discount on the cost. 


Her service was outstanding. There was no "shtick" in any of the sales at Shekem -- a welcome change from some other stores. She ordered the specific model oven we wanted, and she arranged installation and service for all the appliances we bought. When we had a concern with the TV, they were very accommodating about making a change.

They have a new attraction there, called Swing 360.

It was incredibly fun, but for thrill seekers, not the light hearted.

The Law of Return(ing Products)

The law is unquestionably, uncategorically - GET YOUR MONEY BACK and please please do not let salespeople, proprietors anyone tell you differently. STAND YOUR GROUND! There has been a long tradition which must be dissolved ASAP of giving only store credit at best, or just refusing returns.

MONEY BACK and this includes electrical, textile everything. There is a 2 week limit I think according to the law, but even that you can stand your ground. I had a NEW refrigerator conk out after 7 months and believe you me, I got ALL my money back, they wanted to pay me to get rid of me.

GET YOUR MONEY BACK. Call me or some good friend in front of the clerk giving you trouble, talk in English and say to the clerk "just a minute, 'm talking to my lawyer"; yep, it works. Trust me on this.
