Moti lived in California for several years and his English is excellent.
He is a great hair stylist, gentle, experienced in all types of hair styling,
but can also do the basic trim. He is an all-around nice guy. I found
him by chance, and I've gone back to him regularly since moving here.
(My father was a hair stylist when I was growing up, so I know more
than the average person about this profession.) When friends tell
me what they pay for hair care at other locations, I am taken by
surprise, because Moti's rates are very reasonable.

Good Dentist in Raanana
When I was new here and discovered a rather complex problem
with my teeth, including implanted hardware, I needed to get a
referral from a dentist to a good endodontist. A friend gave me
the name of her dentist, who she did not think was taking new
patients, but had agreed to see me as a favor to her. (In the end,
however, I am now one of his regular patients for maintenance.)
He is originally from South Africa:

He immigrated from London in the 1980s, and continues to return
to London regularly to lecture at Kings' College School of Medicine
and Dentistry. His equipment is state of the art, and his skill in
endodontics is the highest you're going to find anywhere in Israel.
He's also a very decent human being and a pleasure to work with,
even though root canal is never fun.
