If you would like to have photographs taken I would like to recommend Yoraan, a young enthusiastic and talented photographer. We used him for a barmitzvah with family portraits taken beforehand. Each photograph is a jewel, Yoraan can do the conservative but we asked for his unusual and artistic touch and weren't disappointed.

Karbe Photography -Outstanding
This is an unsolicited recommendation.
I would like to recommend Wallace as a very professional, flexible
and extremely pleasant photographer to work with.
Wallace has been photographing
for Lema'an Achai on a voluntary basis for the last few months.
His work is outstanding and he is an absolute "mentsch" to work
with. I would recommend him to one and all.

Alex Heilbrun-video services highly recommended
please accept my thanks for passing along contact info for
Alex Heilbrun in Pardess Hanna (077 627 2350).
I finally called him yesterday morning, and he invited me to come
right over and he would transcribe my 3 8mm reels onto DVD's on
the spot, in spite of his being deeply immersed in a major project
prior to his leaving that afternoon for Europe for a brief trip.
He greeted me cordially, and within a short period, he produced two
DVD's for me at a very reasonable price.
He also transcribes 35MM slides onto DVD's in his lab. And, he is
available for all sorts of video services.
Based on my dealings with him, I can highly recommend him to any
and all in need of his services and expertise.
Thanks again.

Documenting Parents with Video
Last week I saw a Video (DVD) documenting the parents of a friend of mine.
The video was made using excerpts from interviews (researched and
conducted by Linda Mischel) of the elderly couple, interspersed with
old photos and even some very old 8mm films of them as young parents.
The quality of work was extremely professional and the material and
interview were handled sensitively. I had never seen anything like this
and I would recommend Linda to anyone with a parent or special relative
for whom would like to have a permanent record for children and grand-
children to come. Or, for that matter, to anyone who wants him or herself
documented for future generations.
Later, I also saw 2 videos (DVDs) she had made documenting vacations
using the vacationer's camcorder recordings and photos taken on the
vacation. She added indigenous music from the countries of the vacations
as background, and also titled the different places that were filmed. Really
turned 6 hours of boring vacation videos into memorable, fascinating stuff!
I highly recommend contacting Linda Mischel: MEMORY VIDEOS –
Documenting People and Events gabidany@inter.net.il
for documenting parents, special events or travelogues.
She researches the subject, scans old pictures and converts videos and
8mm film into wonderful, memorable DVD's for posterity and future generations.

We found about a young lady in our neighborhood (RRBS) with a background in photography. She was perfect for the small family simcha (Bat Mitzva) we just made. The pictures came out great and she is very reasonably priced.
