Pinsky Jewelers in RBS has great customer service

BS'D

Chaim Pinsky did not have what I was looking for in his new fancy
jewelry store. He got it for me in just a day and called me to let me
know I could pick it up. I could get use to that level of service!

By the way, the store is beautiful and I saw a lot of good stuff
including watches. The store is located on Dolev across the street from the new mall.

Excellent Artist in Rehovot

This is a totally unsolicited recommendation.

Vivienne Maron has just completed an oil portrait of my eldest
granddaughter on her Batmitzvah.

She did an absolutely superb job - based on one photograph
- and clearly is very talented. She captured Noa's expression
perfectly, as well as her coloring. Seeing the completed painting
literally took my breath away!

Vivienne did such a great job that I intend to have portraits
painted of each of my grandchildren on the attainment of their
Bar/Batmitzvahs and keep them as family heirlooms.
A wonderful "yerusha" for them one day...

Vivienne's prices are most reasonable - the "value" of each
portrait far outweighs the cost - aside from which she is a
positively delightful person and will work with you to find the
right photograph for the portrait.

I thoroughly recommend her to anyone wishing to create their
own family heirlooms in a similar way. Vivienne can be reached at 9262391.

Yonatan Court, professional carpenter in central Israel

I want to tell you about an excellent, professional carpenter with many
years experience both in Canada and here in Israel.
Yonatan Court d_court@inter.net.il, 050-763-6921

Yonatan Court has built my wood frame house, including the
complete kitchen cabinetry and wooden stairs
(as well as two others on our yishuv Bar Yochai before he moved to
Moshav Beit Gamliel), and custom made tables and furniture. He also
renovated my daughter's apartment in Jerusalem including rearranging
the kitchen and additional cabinets. He is truly a professional who
will do nothing but the best work to satisfy himself as well as you
with the quality of his work. His prices are reasonable for his work
which is truly wood art and he works from his own workshop near
his home.

He also has begun to do wood art projects including havdalah sets,
kiddush cups etc all from various woods.

Beer Sheva unusual exquisite bead & jewelry store

A really unusual exquisite bead & jewelry store in an unexpected place
11 Ben Zvi St. (I guess you'd park at the Kanyon K. Hamemshala or at
Tnuva don't ask me)- diagonally across from that Tnuva produce store
(by Kanyon Kiryat Hamemshala).

Hilat Ha'Even -
Most of the jewelry is done by Kokhi the owner, and I've never seen
such creativity at such fair prices.
Kokhi, a Beer Sheva'ite, also teaches jewelry making in the store
and also does home chick-parties.

The bead & accessory collections seem unusual quality

She does this pendant she calls Keebushon -
I've never seen anything like this! - in varying stones & crystals.
Many of her pieces include Swarovsky crystals (but no Swarovsky prices!)

Go and see and just for fun & a smile.

Ceramics Studio & Classes in Pardes Hana

I had the pleasure of spending 3 hours with Leonie Barel in her
ceramics studio in PH - she is a wonderful, attentive, patient, fun,
experienced teacher.

It was my first attempt at being an artist of any kind and I had a
great time. The atmosphere in her studio is lovely, the materials
and tools are amazing and I even managed to make 3 useful things (2
bowls and a jewelry box for my daughter). Leonie teaches morning and
evening classes and is very fairly priced.

For more information please contact her directly on 054-4637974 or
visit her website www.leonie-barel.com
