Excellent Swimming Lessons Beer Sheva
Hi, there is a private pool owned by Shalom and
Carmela Cohen. They are both experienced swimming
teachers.
They accept children who are going into first grade,
and up. About 8 kids per class. Carmela also teaches
groups of orthodox women Excellent. My granddaughter
learned with them.

I went today (for the first time) to Eretz Haayalim
(www.deer-land. com.il), right at the beginning of the Gush,
They have a new attraction there, called Swing 360.
It was incredibly fun, but for thrill seekers, not the light hearted.

You can choose a Day Pass for 60 NIS, which includes
the Animal Zoo, rope climbing, bunjie, and other attractions,

I would like to recommend to all those planning a trip to the Golan,
an excellent place for children. It is called the "Refet Robotit"
and is in Moshav Avnei Eitan. It is a cow farm and have a robot
which milks the 60 heads of cows.
Leora and Nechamya the owners
begin the tour with a small video in an air-conditioned room. From
there one goes to see the robot at work, again in an air conditioned
room where Nechemya describes the working of the machine and his
operation. He is very interesting and answers all questions.
Then the kids get to feed the calves with bottles and finally can make
butter from milk and get chocolate milk to drink.
The tour takes a bit over an hour and a great time was had by all.
Both the adults and children (aged 8-3) enjoyed the tour.
The farm is Shomrei Shabbat.
The tour we took was in Hebrew and I am not sure if they
could give it in English* but I suggest asking. The phone number for

Dr. Reuven Rosenberg-non-invasive treatments that work in RBS
The parents tried everything the docs could offer and had made an
appointment with the head of gastro in Hadassah Ein Kerem.
Then, after one visit to Dr. Rosenberg on Lachish about 2 weeks ago, for a
little pressing and adjusting, and she's been going every day like clockwork
and sleeping.well. like a baby!

too!

Life Coach for Yound Kids-Gilo
I would like to make a recommendation for a life coach, if you need
some one that deals with young kids with issues from add to improving
in school and dealing with exam stress, and other areas like giving
kids tools for the real world, or kids that have to adjust into a new
country, i really recommend Gilad. He is great with kids, and
teenagers. I have seen first hand how he has help guide and give tools
that are so needed. he really cares. he also does coaching with the
parents which gives a more wholesome solution.

Ceramiccafe RBS: mamish a great experience
Just took my kids to the "Ceramicafe" on Nachal Uriah 10 beit...
and we had a blast!!
Both Rachel and Yocheved were so helpful and sweet, the prices are
really reasonable, and the hours are great too. It was mamish a great
experience for both the kids and me.

Lice is part of life-Penina makes it bearable
I'd like to say (actually, I'd like to not have to say, but you know how it
is...) that Penina's excellent! Very professional, very helpful, quick to
respond, fearless! Whether you use her because you don't know what to do
about them or because you don't have the time to take care of them
effectively, Penina will get the job done.
I was travelling alone days after having to treat my daughter, and I was
happy to able to rely on Penina to take care of things while I was gone so
that I wouldn't have to start all over again when I got home.
For new olim: If no one told you lice are a part of life in Israel,
SURPRISE! At least you don't have to ever worry about your kids getting

I have gone through so many different Pediatric GI's with my son and
have found Dr. Michael Wilschanski from Hadassah Har Hatzofim to be the
best. Originally British and so his English is superb.
He is one of the few doctors who is willing to work with me, explaining
options, and not just tell me what to do
His phone number is: (02) 584-5038/9. You can also make an appointment
through Hadassah hospital. because it's through the hospital all kupot
cholim are accepted, you just need a hitchayvut from the kupah.

Horseback in the Golan
Last weekend I went horseback riding with a friend from England
at a horse ranch on the southern slopes of the Golan Heights.
Absolutely spectacular day!!! Spring flowers knee high to the horse
who was as gentle as expected for someone who hadn't been in
the saddle for 30 years!. They are English speaking--not the
horses--the owners, Justine and Uri, and lovely to work with.
They have hour long rides to several days with camping along
the trail. They cater to children riding in a ring to saftas like me
who remember we rode once upon a time!!!
I highly recommend them.

Train Schedules
For those seeking to travel by train Israrail is ideal. Israeli trains are typically efficient and far-reaching. The views out the windows are spectacular, especially on Israel trains.

There are several railway stations in Tel-Aviv. Trains run to north all the way to Haifa, Acco and Naharia, south all the way to Beer Sheva and east all the way to Jerusalem. There is also a brand new railway to the new terminal at Ben Gurion airport and that is just real cool! Hop on the train in Tel-Aviv, whatever direction you want and enjoy not being in a bus!

Word of mouth is KEY to any service or sales business. 9 Years ago I discovered, through Aish Hatorah (the Yeshiva in Israel that I attended for 2 years) a fantastic travel agent for Israel. Calling around and checking services I could not find a travel agent that could beat his pricing. We are working on taking a trip to Israel with our kids soon. Ilai (the agent I am talking about) has now for the 3rd time been amazing. He constantly is covering the details that would be important to a traveler with kids. When we went to Israel 3 years ago we had an issue with our hotel. After a late night call to his personal phone he had us out of that hotel, with no cost, and into another in minutes. I have driven this man crazy with changes and details, and he is always very kind, helpful and gets the job done. I can't say enough good about him and what he has done for us now for many years when traveling in Israel. Below you will see his e-mail address. You might want to add it to your files. He has a phone number, but e-mail works best.
